One of our long-standing volunteers was recently nominated for Volunteer Leader of the Year in the Key Volunteer Recognition Program with the Volunteer Center of Durham. Paula Rosine Long was one of nine volunteers nominated for the Leader category, and one of 56 volunteers nominated overall. Paula Rosine’s “warmth, caring and enthusiasm has brought great joy to the kids at BounceBack Kid’s monthly basketball sessions. Her calm, thoughtful and caring leadership has contributed greatly to strengthening the Basketball Marathon program’s presence at Duke and UNC Chapel Hill.
